The Founder · By Chelsea Missick

Why I built Elevated Business Advisors.

I kept meeting owners who were doing everything right and still leaving money on the table. Nobody was looking at the whole picture. So I became the person who does.

For most of my career I sat in the rooms where the real decisions get made. Tax, capital, partnerships, the structure underneath a growing company. And I kept noticing the same thing. The owner was talented. The business was working. And still, quietly, money was leaking out of places nobody was watching, because every advisor in the room was only looking at their own corner.

The accountant filed a correct return and went home. The attorney papered the deal and went home. The banker quoted a rate. Each of them was good at their piece. Not one of them was responsible for the whole. And the owner, the one person who could not afford to miss anything, was left to connect it all alone, usually at the worst possible moment.

I did not start Elevated to be one more specialist in the room. I started it to be the person who sees the whole board.

The advisor I could never find

What I wanted, for the people I worked with and frankly for myself, was one person who could hold tax, capital, partnerships, and systems in the same conversation and tell you where the real leverage was. Not ten opinions that never speak to each other. One mind, looking at the whole thing, with the standing to say this is the move and this is the cost of not making it.

That advisor was almost impossible to find, because the people who can actually do it are usually locked inside a private family office or a fund, working for a handful of people who will never give up the seat. I spent over a decade earning my way into those rooms. Elevated is me taking that seat and pointing it at founders and real estate operators who have never had access to it.

Why the network matters more than the advice

Here is the part I am most proud of, and the part most advisors cannot offer. The strategy is rarely the hard part. The hard part is knowing who to call. Over the years I built real relationships across real estate, capital, tax, and high-growth brands, in Florida and around the world, by doing good work and keeping my word long after the deal closed. When a client needs a door opened, I am usually one call from the right person. That access is something you cannot download, and it is frequently worth more than the plan it sits inside.

What I actually believe

I believe most owners do not have a revenue problem. They have a focus problem and a structure problem. I believe filing your taxes and designing them are two different jobs, and most people only ever pay for the first. I believe if your business stops the week you stop, you do not own a business, you own a job with good pay. And I believe the right room, entered at the right moment, can change the entire trajectory of a company.

That is the whole reason Elevated exists. To give serious owners one advisor who sees all of it, says the true thing, and opens the doors that actually move the work forward. Proximity creates opportunity. I built this firm to put you closer to yours.
